MIRACLES HAPPEN!

one set is in the ward with us, and then there is sister cotton who
ended up being at the temple that day too!!

this was Clay's baptism. Sister Hargadon and Cyde, my old companion,
came for the baptism since they taught him at one point too!
the adorable kids are their twin three year olds. they are really shy
and no one knows how to make kids look at the camera....
don't worry, we didnt actually put our arms around him, its an
illusion! haha :) rules...
and that's the whole family :)

ok so we were tracting and we say this adorable little free library
thing, so cute! so we left a Book of Mormon in it :) then we knocked
the house behind it and the guy was super nice! and probably laughing
becasue we were taking pictures with his little free library, hahaha
:)
the pic is Sunday morning, in the car, with the roommates. Hermana
Cruz and Dansie. Also, Freddy the alligator. we are going to get him a
vest, cause then he is our 'in-vest-a-gator'
the last pic is my favorite person, Kesley. She is 19, and moved here
from Idaho, because she is a sound engineer and has internships at
studios here. she is so cool, and I love her so much!

Dear Everyone!

I know, I say it every week, but this week was crazy! And so good. So many miracles. Real miracles in my life. I feel like I fell into a conference talk or something, because there were so many things that happened that I cannot believe happened to me!

So I will start with the absolute best thing. Clay got baptized! And everything went smoothly, minus the fact that someone forgot to turn off the faucet, and may have almost flooded the bathrooms.... but no damage was done :) So we had 10 missionaries there because so many different missionaries taught Clay at some point! Which meant I got to see my old companion and friend Sister Clyde, and her old companion Sister Hargadon who I know well from being nearby her. It was a fun day, and there was just so much happiness in the family. The sisters sang come thou font, and I played the violin. It was under rehearsed, but fun. And there was a wonderful feeling the whole time. So that was definitely the best! Also, he loved his new scriptures, he was really so grateful for them. He brought them to church on Sunday too :)

Saturday was basically the best day cause then we had the Women's Broadcast and that was awesome. Probably one of the coolest things was that in my studies that morning, I had read the parable of the ten virgins, and I had asked the very question that the first speaker addressed, about the five wise seeming selfish to not share. it was shocking to me, and made me feel like I was on the right track in learning what I needed to that day!

So backing it up in the week, we got to go to the temple on Wednesday! And it was such a wonderful experience. The temple is amazing because of the beautiful peace and comfort that can be felt there. It's such a blessing to be able to go there and forget the worries of the world, and receive the guidance that I need in my life from Heavenly Father. We were able to go with April, the wife of Clay who got baptized later that week. It was so neat to think of how in one year, their family will be able to be sealed together for all eternity in the temple. I am so grateful for that fact! I was also able to see Sister Cotton, my first companion, because she was attending the temple that day. It was such a tender mercy from the Lord to get to see her!

So later that same day,we were driving were super late to our dinner. We stopped at a red light, in the right hand turn lane, and traffic was really bad because it's 5:30 pm. So, knowing how my brain works, I saw another way and I went for it. I turned into a gas station, and I cut the corner to miss the street light.   And then I saw flashing lights behind me and I got pulled over.  The cop says three things to me- 'you are visiting? how long will you be here? you can't go through private property to miss a street light.' and wrote me a ticket.  really not a nice guy. I was in tears, and freaking out, and he took forever to write the ticket so we were an hour late to dinner! And I just felt like the very worst person in the world. My first ticket ever! And I honestly just didn't know that it was illegal. I had done it for 5 months in my other area, almost daily. And I just didn't know it was wrong.

But here's the cool part (I know, really not cool about getting a ticket.): the day before that went down, we were on exchanges with our roommates, and I was with Hermana Cruz. We were walking in the downtown area of Madison TN, not the most wealthy or affluent place right? We turn a corner, and see something on the ground. I pick it up, and I cannot believe my eyes.

I wonder if it can really be what I think it is. Hermana Cruz and I are both just flabbergasted.
Later at dinner, we ask one of our members who is a retired police man, and could help us know.
We show it to him, and he verifies it's reality. WE FOUND A $100 BILL ON THE GROUND.
( he told us all about how there is a magnetic strip in them, and a hologram, so it's really hard to fake them now.)

So remember that ticket I got the next day? Guess how much it was for? Just GUESS..............yep. $99.75

The day we found the bill, I had thought we were going to find someone who needed exactly 100 dollars, or something. we thought about it all day, and we decided that night to wait one week, to see if there was anything that came up, for us or any one we are working with, as to why we would need the money.

And then the next day I get the ticket.

So really, Heavenly Father's plan is so much greater than ours. I have really thought over the whole thing, and I just know that it was Heavenly Father helping me out, and preparing me to not get stuck in the dump about the ticket. I was SO mad about it because I had felt so good after the temple, and I wasn't breaking a law on purpose! If the cop had just given me a warning, I would have learned my lesson! But I know that Heavenly Father preempted the adversary on this one, and I am so grateful because it doesn't always go that way. There is absolutely no way that this is coincidence.

The whole thing just showed me the importance of having faith during trials. In this case, He blessed me to see the miracle before the trial of my faith. But I know that's not always the case. I am so grateful that he is so aware of me, and knew that I would need his help this week, in a way that I didn't even know!

Ok, there were a million other miracles this week, but that takes the cake. I won't bore you with the details, but just know that I am loving it here, and I am so glad to be a missionary! I know this is what God wants me to be doing right now. I am so grateful that I get to see miracles in the lives of others, but in my own life as well.

Thanks for the emails and letters, I love you all!

Don't fall asleep while kneeling!

Dear Friends and Family!

The week as flown by, as it always does. Time flies when you are being a missionary? Really though. Again, no idea how to start, but here it goes. I'll talk about what happened, the people we saw, and other random events :)

What happened:

We had another exchange, but this time I stayed here, and Sister Ellis came here! She is from Treemonton, UT. Somewhere I have never heard of but hey! No judgement. She is really funny, and we had a good time together, even though all of our appointments fell through. Literally all of them for the entire day. And we got kidnapped by the family who was feeding us dinner for like TWO HOURS. But it was really good. And it was the end of our fast...

Our fast! Our mission president asked us all to do a mission wide fast this week. It was really neat. We started Tuesday night and went until Wednesday dinner. It was specifically for the people we teach to soften their hearts and listen to our message. And what was super cool was that right after we started our fast, we got a call from MIRACLE MATT! Who told us he is still trying to meet with us, and that he was out of town, and he is still re reading the Book of Mormon. So besides the fact that Matt fell through on his appointment, it was a miracle! I know that one day, some missionaries are going to stumble into Matt, and finally get him to commit and he will be baptized and they will get to teach him everything. And when that happens I will totally feel like I did what I was supposed to with the flakiest person ever. Until then, we pray.

This week was also my first MLC! Which stands for Mission Leadership Conference/Council. It was a really great meeting, especially because we had two general authorities there! Elder Kopishke of the first quorum of the Seventy, and
Elder Meredith, of the sixth Quorum. Both are Area authorities over the Southeast states. They were great teachers, and talked to us a lot about involving our members the in the missionary work we are doing. The Spirit was very strong as they taught us. Something that really stood out to me was what they said about failing. "No master falls out of the sky. They train and practice and fail and improve. Failing is a part of training." As I pondered over that, I realized, wow! He is right! If we could just teach ourselves to appreciate failure rather than shudder at the though of it, we would grow so much more! I am working on it, because I know that my fear of failing keeps me from doing things, in life and as a missionary. It keeps me from sharing the gospel with people, because I am afraid they will reject it, and I will fail! But maybe, they are supposed to reject it, and I am supposed to learn from the 'failed' attempt. I am working on changing my mind set, but it's such a natural thing, it's not easy!

Ok, here are some of the people we are working with:

Ana! The sixteen year old? This week we had her read the Plan of Salvation pamphlet, and she told us she isn't sure she can believe all of it, about existing after we die, and having come from God's presence before. So we listened, and then talked about her belief in God. She really opened up to us and explained that she feels angry at God, and unsure if he is real. It was so neat to get to testify that he does exist, and just because we haven't seen his hand in our life doesn't mean it hasn't been there. We asked her to pray to recognize God in her life, and it was powerful to be able to promise her that we knew he would answer her prayers.

Sherry! Such a sweet experience. Our appointment wasn't home yet, so we were tracting the neighborhood and just walked into Sherry! She was walking outside her house to do her laundry, and she said hi to us, and we eventually started talking. She invited us in her home and was telling us about her church, like the usual. But we reached a point where she was showing us her bookshelf of Bibles, and we were telling her we believe in the Bible, and in the Book of Mormon. She asks us what that is, of course, and we explained 'It's another testament of Jesus Christ. We believe and know that Christ appeared to the people in Jerusalem, and the ancient Near East, but after he was resurrected, he appeared to the people that existed on the Ancient American continent.' We explained more about how we know God loves all his children and would guide them all, not just some, right? As we talked more and more about it, tears came into her eyes. She said 'I just can't believe I have lived my life this long without knowing any of this. How have I never heard about this?' We got to teach her more about the restoration, and how we know that things were lost over time, and that man has changed and corrupted many of the truths that Christ had taught. She asked for the Book of Mormon, so she could read it. We talked to her about prayer, and asking God if it was true, which she said 'of course, of course I'll do that!'. We even got to talk to her about families, and how important they are, and how we know it will help hers. Then she told us about her two sons and how she has been trying to help them get back into church and the right path of life. it was a really special experience, because we could all feel the spirit so strongly as we testified of the truths the Book of Mormon has brought into our lives. We can't wait to see her again and follow up with her reading and prayers!

And of course, Clay! He is set to get baptized this weekend, and we are so excited. Sister Clyde and her companion are coming, so I will get to see her, so I am very excited! And her old companion Sister Hargadon who I know pretty well. its going to be a fun day, and I am so excited for his family! Last night we talked a little about the ordinance of baptism, and he really told us how much he believes in the restored church. We are so blessed to have been able to teach him. He said something about how he had been taught a lot of things, but we helped put it all together. it was so nice to hear that we actually did something that helped! He was practically self taught. Just such an amazing blessing to be a part of the change we have seen in their life.

Alright, on to the random events of the week:
We had to drive to Kentucky to switch back our companions after our exchange, so I had two hours with an awesome young couple in our ward who are in the Nashville Tribute Band, and in a country band named Due West. It was really fun, because a lot of the music he has recorded is approved for missionaries to listen to, so we got to talk to him about. They also have an adorable child who is nine months and just as sweet as can be. But, unfortunately any ability I had to pacify a child has completely left me since I became a missionary since i had a lap full of toys and she was still screaming at the top of her lungs on the way home. (she was over tired, to be fair. She hadn't had a nap. so its not completely my fault.... i hope!)

One day, we were waling up some steps to knock on a door, and I saw a huge grasshopper right in Sister West's path of walking. I was about to say something, but it was too late. She stepped on it, and I just shrieked, and we heard a loud CRUNCH. She just stood there, confused as to why I screamed. I push her out of the way, and what do we see? The grasshopper hops away, seemingly unscathed! It was weird, because it was loud. I just imagined breaking it's little bones! (they don't even have bones, do they.) It was gross, and unsettling. And the people weren't even home, so the grasshopper sacrificed for nothing.

And last of all, just a silly moment of my life. We say our prayers before we go to bed every night at 10:30. And some times, the day has been so long, or you have walked so far, that you are just tired and worn out. And as soon as someone turns off the lights, my brain starts shutting down. So normally I can finish my prayers in a few minutes and head to bed. Well, I had a lot to pray about last night, and unfortunately, my brain turned off before I wanted it too. Around 11:00, I wake up, and realize I fell asleep, while praying. I've done it before, but not for half an hour!! I move to stand up, and I realize that my legs are DEAD ASLEEP. I could barely make it into bed, it was so painful! All my body weight had been on them because I was kneeling. It hurt so badly! And I was bummed, because I really missed out on a good conversation about my day! But I think Heavenly Father will forgive me :)

Alright, that's it! Sorry it was so long, only read it if you really want too! I love you all, and I am so glad to be here :)
Love,

Sister Penrod

Nashville!

Dear Friends and Family!

What a week it's been. So much has happened, there is too much to write about! I'll just see what comes out, sorry!

So I went to Kentucky for the very first time this week! We were on exchanges with sisters in our zone, and I went to Bowling Green with Sister Naillon. I forgot to take a picture, but she is adorable, and so sweet! I enjoyed Kentucky, but they don't seem as friendly as the Tennesseean people I have met. But it was fun to get to know another sister and see another state. I wonder if I will ever serve there! Bowling Green is a melting pot town, so they teach people from all over the world. Liberia, Laos, Guam, Uganda, France, etc. Who would have thought, right?

Also this week, we set two baptismal dates! The first one is with Joshua, our awesome server from Olive Garden who is 6'8"? He loves the gospel, and the church, and the Book of Mormon. The only problem is that he works all the time, and if he isn't working, he is playing disc golf. But the times we have been able to meet with him have been awesome. He didn't make it to church because he works double shifts, but he came to institute! He should be baptized the first or second week in October!

The other date is Clay! Who I can't believe I haven't told you about. So his wife April is a member who was less active for a long time, but has recently come back, and went through the temple this past August. They have two adorable twin three year olds, and an eight year old. And Clay has never really been interested in learning more about the gospel, but he has always been willing to come to church with his wife. Well, after April went through the temple, he started to be a little more interested in the gospel, as in he was willing to talk at church and make eye contact with you. I noticed it since I was here before and after she went through the temple for her endowments. So about three weeks ago, he texts us and asks if we can meet. Of course we want to meet! And since then, the change has been amazing. Our first meeting, he wasn't sure about the Book of Mormon. But as he has started reading for himself, rather than for his wife, he has really come to love the Book of Mormon. Our second meeting with him he said it was starting to make more and more sense, and the last meeting we had with him, he told us that he knew he was going to be baptized, sooner rather than later. And the funnest part of the whole thing is that his wife texts and facebooks us all the time telling us how happy they are and how he is changing for the better, and how ecstatic she is for him. it's just so much fun. His baptism has been a long time coming, because he has been coming to church for over a year now, and he meets with the bishop of our ward on a weekly basis. it's been amazing to see the change in their family, I love them so much! (we get to sit with the adorable twin three year olds at church every week!) He is getting baptized on the 27th of this month! And its all because he saw aw change in his wife after she went through the temple, and has gone back every single week since. I love the blessings the temple brings!

Miracle! Besides those two things, this was a cool story. We were waiting outside for Joshua to make it to church- he told us later that he couldn't make it.  But we look outside the doors and who do we see? David! We have talked to David twice in total, and all we did was ask him about his life and say a prayer with him. but as he walks in to church, he says 'it worked!'. We smile and nod and have no idea what he was talking about. Until, he talks to a member and we over hear him saying that 'The sisters talked with me about coming to church, and i told them that I can't because of work, even though I have worked there so long. They said a prayer with me to be able to find a way to come even once a month. A few days later, out of the blue, my supervisor comes up to me and asks me if there is anything i would like changed with my schedule, since I am a senior employee. I ask for a few Sundays off here and there, and he says no problem! so here i am. and man does prayer work!' It was the COOLEST little miracle ever. So glad that prayer does work, and especially the prayers we say in behalf of others!

In other news, the weather has changed!!!! We needed to pull out our fall sweaters this week, and that was really really exciting for me. I pray it stays this way, I think they said we might have one more heat spell...

Also this week, we sang at a fair! It was actually called a nature fest, but it was in Fairview, TN. I don't really know where it is. But it was fun! We had the times wrong, so we showed up too early, but we got to go around and talk to people and help the missionaries with their booth there. Fairs are really good ways for us to meet people and share the gospel. it was neat, they had a free face painting booth, and a family history tent next to it! it was really fun. See the video I sent home, it was so cool! This guy makes guitars out of lunch boxes and cigar boxes. So cool!! The fair was fun, and we met a guy who was looking for a church and is currently 'church hopping' which means he is going to different churches every two weeks to see what he likes. Such a fad thing to do here. in California, we would probably only go to church for two months total, and then run out of options.

Oh here was something kinda awesome. This week I was praying and trying to know what specifically I could do to improve my teaching. I have been trying hard to listen to the Spirit, especially when it comes as a still small voice. As i asked the question in a prayer, I felt like my answer was to bear my testimony. i was studying all week about testimonies, and studying the testimonies of the prophets we read about, and what was so effective in their words. I was working on bearing my testimony more clear and direct in our lessons with people throughout the week. And then, on Sunday, we get to church, and Bishop comes up to me and asks if I would be willing to what? Bear my testimony. I didn't realize it until later that night, but it was so neat to feel like I had headed the promptings I received throughout the week, and it prepared me for what I was going to do! I am trying to keep the cycle of asking, receiving, and acting solid in my life.

Today we went to downtown Nashville, and just walked around. It was a ton of fun! I sent home a few of the pictures. I have seriously acclimated to the whole boots and country thing. it's kinda weird. I saw these boot salt and pepper shakers that i am totally gonna get before i go home, but i just thought about how that will be so weird. It's not who i was before, and it's not my life at home, but its totally a part of me now! I love it. Its a fun city, lots of things to see. On the street corners, they have these boxes that play country music, its kinda awesome. And live music everywhere too. We had a good time!

Anyway, that's some of the week I guess. so much to talk about, I don't even know what to put in or not! I hope you can enjoy some of the stuff I tell you! I love it here, and I don't really ever want to leave!

Love,
Sister Penrod

Ok so this was the nature fear we sang and played at. Not a big deal,
but fun! This is sister west! She plays the piano.

Hello!

Hello Everyone!

What a week. It has seriously felt like a month because so much happened. I can't tell you even close to all of it, so I am just going to touch upon some of the finer moments that occurred. I hope you can understand my happiness in it all!

So on Tuesday, we did an exchange, which is when we switch companions for a day, and one of us get to go to the other persons area. So I went with Sister Gates to Lebanon, Tn for a day! It was so fun, and exciting to see a new area, and another way to be a missionary. So much of what we do is similar, but everyone teaches in their own way, and it's fun to learn from each other. Sister Gates also served in Hendersonville so it was fun to reminisce about our old areas! She is from St. George, and has a twin serving in Riverside, Ca! We got caught in a rainstorm, but their area has a car full time, so we only got rained on for like 20 minutes. She thought it was a big deal, but I tried explaining to her that she has no idea what it means to be 'caught in a rainstorm' until you have walked all day in the rain and are soaked all the way through. Sometimes, I just feel like such a spoiled stateside missionary complaining about it since I know I have friends who deal with that on a daily basis.

So then, on Wednesday we had Zone Conference, at which I had to give a training of giving tours of the church building. It was new to me, and Sister West and I barely had any time to plan for it, but it went well. I don't really like having to talk to all the missionaries in two zones. It is as if I am supposed to know what I am doing! When really, all I pray for everyday is that Heavenly Father will help me know what I am supposed to do in every situation. But, it went alright, so I guess he answered my prayer that day.

Another answer to my prayers lately about music: we are doing a choir this week! There is something called the Nature Fest somewhere in Tennessee? And for some reason we are singing at it? And we are actually doing some pretty dumb songs, but this was definitely an answer because I get to play the violin for one of the pieces! And, Sister West and I discovered that we both love to make up harmonies and medleys, and so now our days are full of singing songs together. It's great, and I am sure people think we are weird, but it's been so long since I have had a companion who could hold her own part!

I don't quite remember, but I think I mentioned last week about a guy we met named Joshua, who was our server at Olive Garden. Anyway, we met with him this week, and he is very excited about the Book of Mormon, and ready to learn more! He is a miracle, and we are excited for him. He is an amazing guy, with a lot of life lived. He is 6" 8', and was hit by a car two weeks before he was to be deployed as a marine to Iraq. He shattered both hips, knees, and feet. So it's kinda a miracle he is alive, but he has a big heart, and has been looking for the peace the gospel will bring him in his life. We are so excited for him to keep reading the Book of Mormon.

We also found this sweet 16 year old named Ana this week! And it was one of the most unique experiences I have ever had in my life because Ana didn't know anything about Jesus Christ. Nothing at all! And I have never come across that here in TN. So we had the opportunity to teach her about him and explain what he means to us! There was such a sweet spirit in the room as we talked, I was so grateful for the opportunity to be a missionary here and get to teach someone about the atonement that Christ performed for us, and that our Heavenly Father wants us to live with him again, and that because of Christ, that's possible. It was something I don't think I will ever forget. It made me so grateful to have grown up knowing and understanding that Christ is someone who is real, and means a great deal to me.

We were blessed to be taken out to dinner with a member this week, and it was one of the most amazing meals I have ever had. It was all you can eat, and boy was it delicious. I wish I could explain how good it was, but sufficeth it to say that the chocolate cake was the size of my entire hand stretched out! It was so good... and  our member was so fun to be with!

Oh goodness, there are so so so many other things I would love to write about, but I just don't have the time or the ability to express the humor and joy in every situation! I just love these people here so much. It is such a joy to get to serve here and serve them. I love walking around, knocking on doors, and just waving to people to let them know how much the Gospel of Jesus Christ means to me. I just cannot even imagine what my life will be like when I don't get to do that every day! Thanks for all the letters and emails, and the prayers. I am so thankful for the support I have to be doing this. I love y'all!

Too much to write about!

Dear Everyone.

This has been the longest week, I can't even remember everything that has happened. Within one week, my three roommates have changed, I have gotten a new companion, and I have been on an exchange- when two missionaries switch places for a day to learn from each other. So, it's been crazy to say the least. Never any time to catch up, and I still feel like I am running!

On Monday and Tuesday, we were busy saying goodbye and celebrating Hermana Kepler's last day in the mission field. It was a hard night because all of my roommates for the past 6 weeks are leaving me! So it was hard to pack and clean, and get everything ready. And Tuesday was transfer day. It was crazy because we were taking stuff for 6 missionaries, not just us two, to transfer meetings. So we had a trailer with four or five bikes, and all of them had two big suitcases, and a carry on suitcase, and a bin or box with other things, and their bedding and etc. etc. it. was. crazy. and a long day. and then on the way back it was the same deal. so that was a long day. just imagine packing your family for vacation, and then driving an hour, dropping them all off, and getting a new family! That's what transfer meeting felt like. But, it's the mission life I guess!

It was really hard to say goodbye to Sister Halbeisen, and I really missed her this week! It was probably my hardest change of companions because we got along so well, and we could have a ton of fun together too. So, that's that.

So my new family-

Sister West is my companion! She is from Kaysville, Ut, and has been out a year one the 11th! She served in Hendersonville recently, which is weird because that's where I have served, so we know a lot of the same people, and she was companions with Sister Masoe- who just went home to Samoa. Anyway, so that's Sister West, a really solid missionary. Oh, and she is the fourth of five in her family, with four brothers!

Hermana Cruz- she has been out 15 months, and will probably finish her mission here. She is from Turlock, California! And knows where Oakdale is, so that's cool. She is really nice. And she is the oldest of five kids, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Hermana Dansie- is brand new! And from Harriman, Utah, and lives on a ranch. She would compete in rodeos, so that's really awesome. She tells all about life on the farm. It's hilarious and she is half Mexican, so her Spanish is really good. and she has six siblings, 5 brothers and 1 sister.

So we all have big families, and there are lots of brothers in the mix. It's crazy. We get along well, but its always hilarious to make new adjustments because we are all so different!!

The rest of the week was just a long blur. We met some awesome people. Actually cool story:
We were out to dinner with one of our sweet members, and we were commenting on how our server seemed slightly depressed, or sad. So, we knew we were going to share the gospel with him. Turns out he is from Arizona, and he moved out here because his mom was sick, but she passed a way a few years ago (I am telling you, people tell us everything.) Anyway, we left him with a pamphlet about the Restoration, and he CALLED us a few days later! So we are going to teach him this week. It's awesome, and miraculous.

So on exchanges, I got to spend a day with Sister Williams, who was so much fun. She is very chill and laid back, but a solid missionary. She actually serves in our ward, but in the part that is half an hour away from us. So, it was good to get to know her. She served with Sister Masoe for three months, so we got to reminisce on the trials and joys of Sister Vaimalama Masoe. :) Oh, and this was the day that it stormed really really hard, so we just enjoyed the soakage. It was pretty funny! I'll send picture next week. It was also a miracle my ipad didn't get destroyed.

And then, church was fun. I really love the ward. We had a new sixteen year old move into our ward, which is so cool because our young womens needs girls in it! And, it's  fun to get new people. She comes to church by herself, which is so impressive. We can't wait to work with her.

Last two miracles:
A long time ago, I met a girl in our apartment complex at the park and gave her a pamphlet. She called us one day, but we could never get a time to work out. We finally did yesterday, and she is so prepared for the gospel. She is a single mom with one kid, and she is so humble and sweet, and really searching for the truth. it was an awesome lesson, and she prayed so kindly for us and that she can know if this is the direction that God wants for her, so she can have a new beginning. it was so sweet, and we are excited to see her progress. Her name is Tanecia.

And then, to finish it off,we have Miracle Matt. Who fell through on us this week, AGAIN. but never fear, for he is Miracle Matt, right? Right. So today, we go to the  grocery store, but its closed because of the holiday. So then we go to another one. And who do we see as we are going down the isle with eggs? MATT. And he tells us he started reading the Book of Mormon again, and he is still praying, and he still wants to meet up. SO he told us tomorrow. I know, it sounds like history repeating, but he explained he just gets called into work, so its all good now. ITS CRAZY EXCITING.

Anyway, that was just a jist of our week. crazy life. But I am so glad to be here! Sorry this letter was all over. I have had some of the coolest studies in the Book of Mormon amidst everything in my life turning upside down in one day. I really have found the peace and strength I need in life in that book. I love it so much!!

Miss you all,
Sister Penrod
