What happens when a missionary can't do missionary work....

Ok the first one is the adorable package from karma!

The second one is my plan of salvation sheet, that I finished painting
this week!

The other ones are of the lake behind our trailer. Also, snocano! I'll
send his close up next :)

Dear Everyone,

Ok, this week has not been busy or crazy in the normal way! We were hit HARD by the storm, and so we have been stuck inside ALL week! The Elders spent every day digging out our car and their car! It was hilarious to watch, since we have a gravel driveway... We tried to keep busy though! After we called everyone we could, we kept busy with writing in our journals, writing letters and thank you notes, etc. I was even so bored that I tried cooking, baking, and painting. Some of my least favorite things, and if you read further, you will find out why!

I already talked about Monday last week, so I'll give you a quick run down of the rest of the week!
So on Tuesday we walked to the library for wifi, which was cold, and wet. We are not equipped for the crazy ice snow here. But we had a miracle on the way back! We were at a fork in the road and I was really tired of trudging through plowed ice/snow (remember, no sidewalks) so we pulled up our maps and decided to go a way we thought was shorter to our trailer. It was a good idea because we could walk through the street, which was a lot easier. So as we are about to turn the corner to our trailer, with our frozen and wet feet, we see a woman trying to push the car her sister is driving our of their driveway. This woman is middle aged and slightly round, so we know we have to help her! We offer to help and she looks at us and says, "y'all cant help in those clothes," typical response to any sister missionaries plea to help or serve someone! Anyway, we convince her otherwise by going around to the front of the car and pushing. And we got it out! I credit it to Sister Carpenter's hard core grunting. 'It really helps!'. And from there, we were able to talk to Monica, and tell her all about the Book of Mormon. She didn't grow up in church, even though she's lived in the south her whole life. And she has always wondered what happens after she dies, and wants to learn more about God. it's really amazing!! It was a straight up miracle since we ended up being stuck inside all week!

So on Wednesday, we built a snowman! Sister Carpenter never had done it before, but when we went out to do it, she refused to use her hands. So really, she kicked snow at me while I tried to make it stick together, which it was not doing at all. So, we ended up making a snow pile! We named him Snocano, since he looked like a volcano snowman! See attached pictures to see why that name became so fitting for him!

So, on Thursday, we were really hungry, because we felt like we were scrounging for food. We totally weren't but we were just so bored! So we decided to call and ask if the pizza guy was delivering...he wasn't. But since the sun was out, and the main roads were clear, we told the Elders if they got our car unstuck, we would get them a pizza. So they did, and while we were out, we were able to grocery shop too, which was really good because we didn't get to go earlier in the week! We know like all the cashiers and what religion they are since there is one grocery store in town! We were talking to Matty, the atheist we tracted into a week or two ago, and he told us that the day before the storm hit, the grocery store made more money than they had on Christmas, Thanksgiving, or Super Bowl Sunday. Pretty hilarious! People really freak out about the weather. School has been cancelled for two weeks. But this storm was actually really bad.

Anyway, so since the main roads were clear, we thought we would try to see some people! So we head to see Brandy, the girl who really likes to read and has read thirty pages of the Book of Mormon! And as we are working up a hill towards her house, we see a car, turned around and stuck in the ditch off the side of the road. Sister Carpenter, who has never driven in snow, is freaked out. She jumps out of the car and says, "Back up! I'll help the car down the hill!"..... right.... Haha, I was just laughing, because I knew we were going to be totally fine back down the hill. It was covered in snow, but not too much ice. The car was abandoned, so I knew it had been there for a few days, etc etc. We did decide though that it was probably not a good idea to be going to too many people that day, since the back roads were obviously not clear.

Then later that day, we tried to make cookies, but we didn't have chocolate chips, and we halved the recipe.  It was an #epicfail. I just should not ever try to bake! We gave them to the elders, and even they couldn't eat them! haha :) It had too much flour in them, which is the worst! You know it's really bad when the Elders don't want them.

So instead, we resorted to cleaning. That's something I know how to do! But Sister Carpenter, not so much.... I was working on unclogging the sink drain, because it had not been working. I won't go into too much detail, since it literally had my stomach turning. But basically, after I couldn't get anything else out of the drain with the toothbrush and plunger (that was what our landlord told us to use...), Sister Carpenter thought, 'hey, let's use the vacuum!' I told her you can't vacuum water, and that I didn't support her doing it. But she did it anyway. And what happened? A hair ball, the size of a squirrel came out. Literally, I am not exaggerating. I didn't take a picture because I just couldn't even handle looking at it for more than two seconds. Sister Carpenter made me look so that I would believe her. But man, it was nasty.

So then, we spent the next half hour cleaning out the vacuum, and drying it out.  Our member told her later that night that we can't vacuum water unless we have a shopvac. That night, Sister Carpenter was so bored, she organized the tupperware. In missionary apartments, that's basically all you have. Tons of it!

All we did on Friday was make the tilapia we bought on Thursday. It was good. Also, we called Monica! And guess what? SHE ACTUALLY READ THE BOOK OF MORMON. And she totally had legitimate questions. We are so stoked. We are gonna meet with her on Tuesday this week! She is so funny, we love her. Oh and I forgot this tender mercy too! I got a surprise package from Karma Christensen, for Valentine's Day! And the reason it was a tender mercy was because there was chocolate in it, and we had been out of chocolate for at least two days. So I really was losing it. She saved my sanity, and my companions too!

Saturday was a crazy day! Why? because I played, and conquered, Monopoly! We played with Boots, Mickey, and Sister Cooper. Man, that was the wildest, most intense game of Monopoly I think I will ever play. oh, and it was Nascar themed :) #thesouth It was sweet relief from another really boring day inside. It rained, so we hope the snow would all go away, but instead, the field behind our trailer became a lake. So it looked like snocano erupted! But he was still alive :) We also found out church was cancelled for tomorrow! Because too many of our member live out in the back roads, and the roads weren't clear enough yet.

oh yeah, we also had our second miracle of the week! So the sisters in Jamestown lost power, because the whole town lost power. So we were trying to figure out how to get them down here, so they could stay with us. But the road to Jamestown is a crazy windy mountain road, and we had a feeling it wasn't clear. So they were looking for a member, but because of the really specific rules (ie no children or single men), it wasn't working out. So, as the rain gets worse, we get a text from the sisters, which was miraculous since they never have any service in their apartment, ever. And they told us that ONLY their power has turned back on. Literally, none of their members had power, but somehow, their apartment complex got power again. And, they had service! So it was a miracle, because they would have been stuck there in the freezing temperatures all night!

So on Sunday, we decided to drive down to Cookeville for church, since ours was cancelled. We get there and realize that there are like 10 sets of missionaries there, because every one's church was cancelled! It was a great meeting, and so good to get out and see people other than my companion. We were so glad the roads were totally clear there and back. We tried a few more people on our way back, and found out one of our new investigators from last week was walking in the snow, slipped, and broke her rib! So sad!

So that was the week in a nutshell. I hope I made an incredibly boring week sound fun and exciting! It was really hard not doing missionary work, because it made me feel so purposeless! We are still really careful with the ice, cause it's so cold here, everything is frozen. Our car was stuck this morning, again.... So tired of that! I was really grateful for the time to study and learn more about the Book of Mormon, and the Atonement. I studied that for a few hours, it was really incredible. If you want a good talk to read, look up Elder Nelson's talk, 'The Atonement'.

I hope everyone is safe, happy, and warm! I love you all.And I hope my letter next week is a lot more interesting.

Ice Storm Madness!!!

ok so the first one is the goats we met while tracting :)
then a pretty sunset
then Boots at the temple two weeks ago! she wouldn't smile.
then, Boots and Sister Carpenter switched shoes because they are the same size!
then, us heart attacking people. That was Mickey's door :)

Dear Everyone!

So I am writing this Monday afternoon, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't get sent until Tuesday. Why?Because it's ICE raining outside! It's not snow, but just ice coming from the sky. It's not even hail either! So our Pday was moved to Tuesday, but then because we were all going to be inside anyway, they moved it back to Monday which makes sense, but it's also totally lame because we have no wifi in our apartment, and our washer is broken. And because it's crazy storming outside, we can't go anywhere or do anything....so this will hopefully be a great letter since there is literally nothing else to do.... besides respond to all of my faithful supporters who I have failed to respond to over the past four or five months! :)

So this week was a week of MIRACLES. Seriously, one of the best weeks we have had in a while. We saw Heavenly Father helping us and guiding us so much! And of course, there were some humorous moments along the way too!

It started out great on Monday night! It was pretty cold outside, but I knew we had to do some tracting. We are actually supposed to tract an hour everyday, but it's always hard on Mondays because by the time we go out at the end of Pday, it's dark. And for some reason, people are way less friendly when it gets dark! So we were trying to meet someone the missionaries used to teach, and they weren't home, but we decided to knock on some of the doors in the apartment complex. And no one was answering, except for the very last door! It opens, and we meet this sweet, mid 20s looking girl named Bethenie! And we talk, and explain that we share a message for our families that helps us grow closer to God. We come to find out that she and her husband have been looking for a church for them and their two kids! And even more than that, her husband had just gotten rushed off to the emergency room by an ambulance! So she told us that she felt like we were a sign from God! It was really neat. We gave her a card with mormon.org on it and she told us she would look it up as soon as we left. It was really an amazing moment! We followed up with her later in the week, and found out her husband has kidney stones! And he was still in a lot of pain when we stopped by, so we set up a time next week to check in on them. We are really excited, we feel like there is a lot of potential with them. And their little kids are totes adorbs.

The next day, we went to the horse farm again and scooped some more poop!! It was chilly, but really fun. We also got to pet the donkeys. Sister Carpenter isn't very good at listening to what NOT to do, because she made one of the donkeys mad at her, it was RIcky. The other donkey is named Ethel. Pretty good, right? :) I love it! But probably the funniest moment at the horse farm was when Sister Carpenter reached over the fence to pet the donkey, and what happened? She got shocked by the electric fence! It was sad, but SO funny. She knew about it too, she just forgot. The worst thing was that it was in her armpit! Hahaha :) So funny! I know, that sounds mean...she was laughing too!

That day we were blessed to be taken out to dinner twice! We went to the only Mexican restaurant with one of the High Councilmen from the stake, and then the pizza place in town! It was really fun, Sister Aiken took us to dinner, I just love her so much! We had a good time!

Later that night we had a correlation meeting with Mickey, our Branch Mission Leader. He is so awesome. I don't think I have ever told you enough about Mickey. He's this round, rosy cheeked guy who has the most southern accent ever, and just loves helping people. His dog is named Ellie Grace. And she misbehaves. But Mickey is always doing everything and  anything he can for us, we love him to death. He was baptized two years ago, and was practically disowned by his family, which is honestly almost the whole town of Livingston. It's pretty funny, because anyone we meet, he knows. and He knows their mama too. we asked Mickey to go through the phonebook so that we could go try to meet some more people! he literally knows everyone, because he has
lived here his entire life. Could you imagine that? Anyway, he is just so sweet, and really loves the gospel! So, he went to transfer meeting this week because one of the missionaries that baptized him was going home, so Mickey wanted to go say bye. And while he was there, he felt like he should record the musical number, so he did! And guess who it was? Sister Cotton!!! She was playing the violin, first time she's ever played the violin!! Since we had our meeting that night, he was able to show it to me, which I was so grateful for! It was a real tender mercy!

We also found two AMAZING people this week! One was named Denise, and she told us that she has read a lot of the Book of Mormon and she believes it's true! SO that's definitely a first for me here! We are going to meet with her this week, but it was pretty amazing, especially because we were tracting in a part of town that was pretty ritzy, which usually means no one will listen to us. Then, later we found Kelly! And oh my goodness, she is amazing. She is so spunky, and so funny. she loves learning about religions, and she knew the Huddlestons, cause her daughter played softball with one of their granddaughters. It was so fun talking to her, because she listened, and totally understood what we were saying, even though her 5 year old son was running around making minecraft noises. What even is minecraft? anyway, she told us she would love to read some of the Book of Mormon, and that we can come back and explain it to her! Probably the best part was when she told us she is baptist, but she doesn't
believe in the trinity... which is often the biggest hurdle for us! So it really was a miracle that we got to talk to her, and we get to go back! We had prayed really hard both days to go where we could find people who were prepared for the gospel, so we feel really good about their potential!

Oh, good news I found out this week! I was messaging one of the people I worked with in my last area, Charlene, and I found out that she is going back to the temple this week for the first time in over 20 years! She has been working so hard to get her recommend again, and she has finally done it! It's a big deal :) Unfortunately, we only get to go to the temple if one of our converts is going through, so I won't get to be there with her. But it's ok, I am still just so happy. It makes me remember that I have a purpose here, and that I won't always see the fruits of my labors immediately, but they will come eventually! It was really neat to find out she was going. She overcame a lot in just a few months. I am so proud, and I know it's all because Heavenly Father has helped her every step of the way!

Speaking of the temple, temple prep is still going strong here! I love it so much. We missed last weeks lesson because there was a stake meeting, so this was lesson 4, all about making covenants with God. I am so grateful we are attending because I am learning so much, and it's really fun to get to answer the questions the Cobian Ponces have afterwards. It's pretty neat. And it always makes me so grateful for the temple and the blessings that come from it! We will be going to the temple in about a month, so I am really excited!

We tried a few new things this week, which made things interesting. One of which was the Chinese Restaurant in town. The only one. It was kinda ironic because the day before we met a Chinese lady, probably one of the only Asian people I have met here. It made me really happy :) Anyway, this Chinese restaurant is not like any one I've ever been too. It's a buffet, and it's basically southern Chinese food. everything is fried! The couple we went out with told us that when the Chinese place first opened up, no one would go to it because they thought the food was weird since it wasn't fried. They thought it looked like the food had already been eaten, and then regurgitated and put on a plate! Too funny....oh the south!

Our Valentine's Day was a fun one this year! We spent the day heartattacking as many people as we could! I guess it's not a very known phrase here, but for anyone who might not know what it is, when we 'heartattck' someone, it's simply covering their door in hearts and nice sayings about them! We did it to Mickey, and he LOVED it. We also
got Sister Cooper, and Danielle, a recent convert. It's hard to get people outside of town because there is no possible way to sneak up to their house and do it without them knowing! So we spent the rest of the day spreading joy and love to everyone we love!

We headed up to Celina to see the awesome family we found a while ago, the Greers. Unfortunately, the mom had been gone for the night, and the house was DESTROYED, and the kids were amped on sugar because of Valentine's day, #mykidsarenteatingsugar #ever, so we helped her clean up her house, by doing the dishes....for two hours. It was insane. Also, we taught her little daughters I am A Child of God. It was really fun, but a lot of work too! She was really grateful though! We should get to see her this week  again!

We also had a great lesson with a less active lady named Jennie. We were teaching her daughter and her daughter's friend, Harley and Len, but they both decided to move to Florida, kinda on a whim. So, now it's just Jennie and her awesome son Hunter. We are hoping to get Hunter to want to go on a mission, and we are helping Jennie stop smoking now!! She's this crazy cool lady who rides motorcycles and is a nurse and has fake teeth, and is just awesome. We know she is going to make big steps in coming back to church. Here goal is to make it to
the temple too!

Another funny moment of this week: In sacrament, we both had to give talks! But every week, we are handling this little 5 year old boy named Hayden. He is adorable, but his name might as well be Tazmanian Devil. He HAS to sit by us, so we scoot our two metal folding chairs together so he can sit in the middle of them. And somehow, one of us always has boogers or spit on our skirts and our iPad screen by the end of the meeting. We are really working on teaching him about reverence, but sometimes it just seems impossible! So this week, he brought a friendly little stuffed bear with him to sacrament! And what could bear do you ask? Well, lots of things! Like attack my face, jump on our heads, go to sleep, sneeze, vomit, and even poop! Those were just some of his favorites. So we tag teamed it this week, since we were both speaking. We both just tried really hard to not get any spit on us before our talks, and to not look at Hayden and his flying bear during our talks. Miraculously we did it, especially since he likes to exclaim things out loud during sacrament like,"It burns my mouth!"or"I don't like him, he's mean!". Its kinda the branch's goal to keep Hayden entertained and quit each week. Maybe one day we will make it!

One of the coolest moments this week was at church. One of the members daughter and granddaughter came to visit! The granddaughter had just come home from a mission in Oregon, and the daughter was so sweet! They live in Georgia, but she grew up here. She told me that she was just so ecstatic that there were missionaries here in Livingston, because growing up here, she said she never ever saw missionaries. I just felt so privileged to be one of the few who have served in Livingston!

Well, that was the week. I don't know if any of you will make it through this whole letter, but when a missionary gets snowed in for the WHOLE day, all they do is write letters!! I love the miracles we saw here this week , and I love that I get to serve here. It's amazing how much God knows me, and the tender mercies he has shown me every single day of my mission. I am so grateful for the gospel. I spoke in church about how we can live happily, even when things are hard. I really learned that when I desire to keep the commandments, life is a lot easier. I guess it goes along with having a broken heart, and a contrite spirit. I think when we give our will to God's, the miracles never cease!

Love you all,

Sister Penrod

Always zip your skirt...

Dear Everyone,

It's been a good week! I am staying in Livingston, TN for another 6 weeks probably, which I am so happy about! Every other companionship around us changed, so we are blessed to be here! As always, never enough time, but I go through the highlights.

On Saturday we got to go to Franklin for a baptism of someone sister Carpenter taught. But the best part was that one of the missionaries at the baptism had someone they knew going to the temple to do baptisms for the dead, and since we were right next to the temple, I went with her! It was such a blessing. I had been praying that I would have the chance to go in the temple since we were so close. It's a two hour drive there and back, so it really was so worth it! It was a really spiritual experience, it was such a blessing to be there. Three recent converts were doing names for their family, and the Spirit was really strong.

Then after that we went out to lunch with Boots, since she had driven us all the way there! And since we tricked out waiter into letting us pay for her, she told him, "I'm gonna break your knee caps if you let them pay, and then come back around here!" and she was really serious. He actually didn't walk back to our table after that....oh Boots! It was kinda strange to see her in the church building in Franklin, because she was so different than everyone there, and yet, everyone there loves the gospel. It was an interesting experience for sure! But, I just love Boots to death.

We had a great lesson with Shirley this week too! I don't think I've written about him, but I should have already! He is probably 60 or 70, and lives alone. He is so sweet, and loves football. a lot. He just goes and rakes peoples yards because he wants to help anyone he can. We taught him all about his self worth, and how we know he matters to God. It was an interesting lesson. We had Sister Cooper there, the lady who just lost her leg. She was so good at helping Shirley understand the so much of it from her experience, it was really neat. He has a desire to do what's right, he's just trying to get the will power, and we are trying to teach him to use God too! So we will see what happens this week! Oh yeah, he has met with missionaries for a few months, that's why this was a big break through, that he told us what was going on!

We did a lot of phone contacting this week, because we have lots of referrals from fairs that people fill out with their info. Unfortunately, Sister Carpenter isn't the best on the phone. She really really hates it and is sorta awkward- don't worry she openly admits this. So that leaves me to do a lot of the contacting. It's always a new surprise though! We called one couple who answered and then yelled back to the other person in the room, "It's the little missionary girls! Where ya been?!" It was so funny, we were just laughing and laughing. I should record a phone call once, see what happens.... haha!

So we have pets now too! there are two little puppies who are running around our trailer, and are playing with the elders trash. It's cute, but also distracting. However, the elders told us that they gave them baths....so they probably have rabies now. Boots saw the pups and said "If they's didn't have collars, I'd a scoop um up and take em home!" so now we are contemplating taking their collars off....just kidding! haha :)

Probably the most ridiculous moment of the week was learning the potato dance...its native American apparently, and one of the members is native American, and was trying to teach us. It's like a tribal thing they do at the pow wow each year? So basically, you and your partner, in this case Sister Carpenter, put a potato in between your foreheads and try to dance without it falling. It's really hard.

Oh yeah! Probably one of the most embarrassing moments of my life! We walk into church and say hi to the elders. Sister Carpenter goes off somewhere, and I put something on the table. Then one of the elders says, "Sister Penrod, don't think anything of this, but....I think you forgot to zip up your skirt." oh. snap. I had put it on that morning, zipped and all and then, I re-pinned it with a safety pin, and I forgot to zip it! GAH. So awkward. But also, so grateful he said something since we were playing a musical number in sacrament! and I would have walked up there and everyone would have seen it! GAH. my life....

But the musical number went well and I'm just trying to not be scarred by that awkward moment. hahaha!

So it was a good week. Full of lots of wonderful people in the branch. We are doing lots of tracting, and prepping ourselves for another crazy transfer. Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. I am so grateful for the blessing you all are in my life!

Love,

Sister Penrod

Families are Forever

Dear Everyone,

Well, it was the longest week of my life. I just don't know how to write about it. So, as usual, I'll try to pick out a few of the most  important things. We drove a lot because we went to Sparta, Tompkinsville, Celina, Crawford, Monterrey, and Cookeville this week. Woo!

So as always, exchanges were fun, even though they were crazy. We did a trio exchange at the beginning of the week, which meant we went to see the Sparta sisters, and I went with one companionship, and Sister Carpenter went with the other. We tried to help the sisters raise their vision of what their mission could be. It failed with one set, and seemed to work with the other. Oh the life of trying to be a helpful leader when all they see you as is a pestering peer....!

Then the next day we did an exchange with the sisters in Tompkinsville, so I got to be with Sister Leavens! I have done a few other exchanges with her before, so it was fun to be with her again. She is a great sister. Stressed about going home as our entire mission seems to be, since like half our mission will leave in the next four months. or something like that. But its ok, I'll still be here :)

We had interviews with our President this week, which was really good. I really appreciated talking to him, and getting his input on so many things. He's a good man, with a lot on his plate. I do not envy him whatsoever. Could you imagine having to talk to 250 18-21 year olds over two or three weeks? Sounds like high school or something....

We met a new investigator this week, her name is Brandy! She loves to read, so we told her all about the Book of Mormon and she is so excited to read! We can't wait to talk to her more about it. She really understood everything we talked to her about. Which always makes us feel good, because more often people are just closed off to hearing what you know will change their life! Sister Carpenter has this set door approach where she asks people if they read the bible, and then when they say yes, she says, "If there were another book of scripture that brought you closer to Christ, would you read it?" which is an ok question, but here it just sounds like we are NUTS. So literally every single person says no, and shuts the door. It's almost comical. I feel slightly insane as we do it that way, like we expect a different result every time.... nope. I'm gonna try to talk to her about it sometime this week...

On Saturday, we were trying to get up in to one of towns that are really really small and far away, and somehow (well, we know how. We didn't bring our gps and Sister Lawson didn't know where she was going. Even though she thought she did...) so somehow, we ended up in the Mennonite community! it was awesome! We saw some real leather shops, and wood working, etc. It was cool. But we only saw it cause we were asking everyone where we were going... it was pretty funny :) we eventually stopped at the little post office in the next town, and asked them. The girl working said, hold on, let me call my mom and since her mom didn't answer, she called her uncle. They both lived there for their whole lives. Pretty funny, right?! Really, the best part was the curtains at the post office. See the picture Iattached :)

We also scooped poop again this week, and had our very first Boston Butt? I don't know if that's how you are supposed to spell it but that's what it sounds like. It was SO good. Really, extremely delicious! It's like good pulled pork, with a good sauce! When we scoop horse poop, we get gooooood food!

We also went up to Celina again and saw the Greer's, the awesome member we happened to find! We were able to teach their whole family again, it was awesome :) They are really kind people, and since they live so far from civilization, we are gonna have to get them out of their comfort zone in order to get them to church. But it was probably the highlight of my week when we taught their adult son to pray. And after he did, the smile on his face was just ear to ear. It was an incredible feeling in the room.

We also taught the county judge this week. I had the best posture of my life in that lesson! She served us cheese and fruit on platters. So classy.

Boots is doing great. Love her. Still working on breaking her out of her shell!

We were also blessed this week with some good ol biscuits and gravy. Sister Lawson made us them for the morning she was coming out with us. SO nice of her. its just how people are here. We can't really go anywhere or see anyone with being fed. It's pretty....great. :) not gonna lie!

So the devastating news was that one of my former companions went home from her mission this week. Her dad called, and told her that her mom wasn't doing well. Her mom had been fighting cancer for 5 years, and she passed away this past Friday. My companion was able to fly home in time, and had a few hours to spend with her before she passed. It's really broken my heart, because there's nothing to be done for her from Tennessee. But I know that my companion was one of the most hard working and diligent missionaries I've met, and she will be so blessed for serving the Lord. I am so sad she had to leave, and my heart is breaking for her family. But she's already told me that she knows she will find peace in time, because of the temple, and because she knows she will be with her family forever. I am so grateful for the gifts Heavenly Father gives us everyday, whether it's another day breathing, or a day serving a mission, or a day spent with our families. We can't ever take those blessings for granted!

I love you all, thanks for the prayers. Say some for my former companion's family too!

Love,

Sister Penrod

PS:  that would be Sister Lawson in the post office in Crawford! and then Sister Leavens in Tompkinsville and then Sister Carpenter and I; See the curtains?
